New Farmhouse by Kirsty Maguire Architects won the Bespoke Projects Design award

The winners of the UK Passivhaus Awards 2014 have been announced, with the Coventry Eco House, New Farmhouse and Burnham Overy Staithe projects picking up top honours.

1 July 2014 – The winners of the UK Passivhaus Awards are announced! After catching the judges eye, being shortlist to the final 8, projects presentations & answering questions; the votes have been counted and the Trust can finally reveal those that beat off the tough competition are:

Architectural Design: Sponsored by Munster Joinery

Winner: Burnham Overy Staithe, Parsons + Whittley Architects

Shortlist: Hindolveston Road Housing, Mole Architects; Standings Court, MH Architects

Bespoke Projects Design Sponsored by Ecology

Winner: New Farmhouse, Kirsty Maguire Architects

Shortlist: River Studio, Sjolander da Cruz Architects; Stories Mews, Richard Dudzicki Associates Ltd

Cost and Build-ability Sponsored by Saint-Gobain

Winner: Coventry Eco House, Beattie Passive, Encraft & FORCE
