Tesco to divert 7m fresh meals to FareShare
Tesco has announced it will divert all the surplus fresh food from its distribution centres and online grocery centres to over 1,000 charities in the FareShare network.

Sainsbury's has hit its target of sending zero waste to landfill within three years, with all waste now going 'to positive use'. Surplus food is redistributed, used to make animal feed or sent to AD plants, while general waste is recycled or turned into fuel.
FareShare to redistribute Cake Awards surplus
The Cake Awards has partnered with food donation charity FareShare, which will see additional cake samples from the judging process redistributed.
